Our Scan Bodies are manufactured of Titanium Grade V and surface treated for optimum scanability, precision, durability, and bio-compatibility.

The overall design philosophy of the CMT Scan Bodies have been to ensure a reliable and accurate outcome for the clinician while ensuring, durability of the product and maintaining a simple workflow.

To ensure durability and precision the components are manufactured from Titanium grade 5, a material known in the dental industry for its reliable performance. The slightly roughened surface with the addition of  homogenous low contrast durable coating, optimizes scanability both intraoral and in the lab and with the optimized geometry, alignment can often be done with no more than one click.

By having a all metal scan body, the x-ray translucency is optimized, so that when you need to, you can see if seating is just as it is supposed to be and with testing to 100 reuses, the CMT Scan Body can be relied upon for continued use.

To assure optimum workflow conditions for the clinician we have assured, that the screw driver you need to use for any temporary or healing solutions is the same that you need to use for the CMT Scan Body and with a clear identifier, engraved directly on the Scan Body, communication between Clinic and lab is made easy.
